While we are navigating through the summer months in 2021, there is a constant level of uncertainty in how our service to society will be able to include the significant human connection experienced by Rotary Rotarians in earlier times. Though the mantra of hands faces will certainly continue to be a component of our practice, it's evident that the confidence building is evident and more face-to-face connections are happening. Rotary has indeed changed. We are in the summer of 2021, the level of uncertainty concerning whether Rotary will be able to give the same kind of connection that Rotary members experienced in the in the past persists. It is not clear if the mantra "hands face space" will be an integral part of our routine, but it's clear there's an increase in optimism and the determination to meet face-to-face. Rotary has changed. Rotary is a community that fosters long-lasting friendships. We have sharpened up our practices maintaining online meetings for our business while introducing the social and service aspects using a friendly face-toface approach. The new opportunities we have discovered are combining with what we learned from previous outbreaks to create a perspective to Rotary. While I'm extremely proud to see that Rotary Centre continues to support the communities of Great Britain and Ireland, Rotary Center continues to fund numerous community initiatives which benefit people who are members of Rotary and help keep them safe as well, compliance and insurance is essential. The creativity of our members and ingenuity when dealing with some of life's most challenging problems is astounding. I am thankful for the opportunities Rotary offered me with in 2002, to be an official participant. As with many others, Rotary members, it has given me the security of a solid community of fellow members from which genuine friendships have been formed over the last twenty years.
